about

These traditional dance tunes from Missouri and the Midwest were recorded on August 2, 1981, at Bob and Joan Christeson's home in Auxvasse, MO. Dennis and Emily Buckhannon provided the excellent accompaniment heard on this recording. Barry Bergey, who at the time was working with the Missouri Friends of the Folk Arts, served as the recording engineer.
